Kenneth Edwards, Board Chair

Director – Innovation, Technology, & Quality, General Mills

Kenny has been working professionally with food since 2000 in areas such as food safety, manufacturing management, and new product development. Today, he leads the research and development team for General Mills Snack Bars Business Unit.  He brings a passion for food and nutrition access and process leadership to the Youth Farm Board. Kenny moved to Minneapolis in 2015 and started volunteering with Youth Farm in 2016.

Nathan Moen, Board Treasurer

Business Operations Analyst, Life Time, Inc.

Nathan’s background is in finance, accounting, and business operations. He loves good bookkeeping and thinks the role corporations play in their communities is essential to a healthier future. He currently works at Life Time, Inc. in corporate responsibility as the Business Operations Analyst for the Life Time Foundation, a 501(c)(3) that provides grants to school districts across the country to help eliminate highly processed, unhealthy foods from school meals. He supports all fundraising events and campaigns to fund grants to schools to improve the food system. Nathan lives in North Minneapolis and loves cooking, running, and spending time with his cat.

Dorothy Dahlenburg

Financial and Development Professional, retired

Dorothy retired a few years ago after serving as the Finance Director for WellShare International and VP of Administration and Development for Tree Trust. Prior to turning her focus toward finance, Dorothy served 20 years as development director for two MN nonprofits and worked for the state of Minnesota as a marketing and outreach director. Since retiring she has served as treasurer on the Board of Directors of One Village Partners where she helped upgrade their accounting systems in the US and Sierra Leone. In addition to volunteering in the community, Dorothy enjoys reading, gardening, camping with her husband Tom, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Sue Letourneau

retired philanthropy professional, food access advocate

Sue Letourneau retired from the Center for Prevention at Blue Cross Blue Shield MN where she worked as a Senior Program Manager working with Center funded projects focused on increasing access to healthy foods. Prior to her work at Blue Cross she served as the Health and Nutrition Program Leader at the University of Minnesota Extension. Sue is passionate about advancing health equity and food justice. As a proud resident of the West Side of St Paul, she also serves on the board of the West Side Community Organization (WSCO) and is a member of Growing Resilience on the West Side (GROWS)  Sue is an avid gardener, enjoys hiking, biking and cross country skiing.

Suman Nag

Technology Leader, Moonshot Seeker

Suman has served as a General Manager and technology executive across the retail, consumer goods, and CPG industries in 7 different countries. As a first generation American, having lived in a diverse set of communities and economic circumstances during his childhood, Suman joins the Youth Farm board with a strong commitment to building a measurably better world. At Youth Farm, he believes this can happen by unleashing the potential of youth in our communities and inspiring the world to see what’s possible with the next generation of leaders.
