After 14 years as a Youth Farmer, Project LEAD, young adult staff, and Powderhorn Program Director, we bid a bittersweet farewell to Hashep Seka this week. Hashep has contributed so much of herself in the last 14 years at Youth Farm. She is a talented community organizer and dedicated youth worker and has spent countless hours over the years harvesting, organizing events like Dr. Reverend Martin Luther King Jr. Day at Powderhorn Park, calling families, printing registration forms, organizing kitchen spaces and supplies, leading cooking classes, working along side Project LEAD in the gardens, and hauling bikes through the neighborhood.  She has served as a mentor to hundreds of youth and has grown alongside many of the youth she has served.

Thank you for everything you have contributed to Youth Farm Hashep!  You will be very missed and we look forward to seeing what the future holds for you.
