Fatumo and Emma are both in the first summer at Youth Farm and have become fast friends. Here they demonstrate how eating our delicious lunches helps them be strong and healthy. In the first two weeks of program our lunches have been stuffed full with our own veggies, including our own spinach, strawberries, cabbages, carrots, green garlic, green onions, garlic scapes, lettuce, mustard greens, snap peas, cilantro, and mint. We’ve even been using the tail end of our zucchini and peppers we froze last year. YUM!
