This spring Youth Farmers and All Stars have been fixing up bikes with the Alley Bike Shop to increase youth access to sustainable transportation. These Lyndale program youth have come together in Whittier to fix nearly 20 bikes. Through the process our youth are learning how to work together and gaining skills in bicycle maintenance. We’ve learned how to fix flats, re-do brake systems, true wheels, replace seats, and everything in between. Big thanks to the crew at Alley Bike Shop and the Whittier Alliance for making this possible!
