This past Friday the youth on the West Side had another summer day filled with good food, art, garden time, games, and biking. Each day the youth who work in the Cherokee School garden bike the 1 mile trip, you can see them circling up preparing to head out. Please check out the rest of the photos – Our chefs made Lo Mein and Spring Rolls (with YF grown green onions), the creative arts focus group used washable markers to decorate the YF van, and kids couldn’t wait to start the capture the flag tournament.
