It has been a great Youth Farm summer in Powderhorn so far! We have been enjoying lots of delicious meals, tending to our farms and compost, and having lots of fun in afternoon activity groups. Check out all the green thumbs!
We were honored to have a visit from Senator Franken today at our Nellie Stone Johnson farm-site in North Minneapolis’s Hawthorne neighborhood. Youth Farmers led the senator on a tour of the farm, before sharing some Youth Farm-made pickled dilly beans and beets.
Today marked the first day of Youth Farm’s 21st year of summer programming!
