Youth Farmers think the sheep are pretty great!
As we approach the last week of YFMP’s summer program, momentum is still rolling strong in Frogtown. Youth are busy preparing for Frogtown’s first Harvest Fest (Saturday, August 11th from 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm at 501 LaFond, see you there!) with preparations for a delicious meal and presentations and farm tours by the youth. Youth have also been taking time to continue exploring Frogtown and sites that aren’t so near to Frogtown. Earlier this week, the Frogtown crew took a day trip to Gale Woods Farm, described as “outdoor fun on a real working farm!”. Youth were able to tour the barns, get up close and personal with the animals, and contribute their efforts to the Gale Woods gardens.
